Teaching yoga is the best thing you can do for yourself

My favourite Patanjali Yoga Sutra verse is the one on the modulations of mind.
The knowledge of various modulations of mind brought awareness in me. I could learn more about my mind and my thoughts. The concept of viparyaya and vikalpa had a deep impact on me. Now that I know of these modulations, I can face various situations in my life with confidence and courage. I started to think critically in different situations and it changed my perspective towards life.
Both the processes of learning and teaching yoga process builds confidence in me. In these moments I find peace and harmony in myself.
Earlier I was a really tense person and had stage fear. But now I feel really confident about teaching yoga and speaking in front of strangers.
Whatever the situation may be, I can manage it well and always feel calm in my mind. Even if the situation seems tough, something in me brings clarity to think and act accordingly. I strongly believe it is due to the yoga I am practicing.
The teaching and learning processes have made me what I wished to be. A confident and happy person. Surely, I will follow this practice for a lifetime. Nothing else in this world could have changed me like this. I may have set out to become a yoga teacher but I am becoming a yogi. Feeling grateful and blessed for that.
