The course is given over three days in 21/2 hour sessions each day. The Art of Meditation Course teaches Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, a graceful and natural meditation that allows the mind to settle naturally into meditation. When the mind settles down it lets go of stress and fatigue

Course Format

The Art of Silence course, usually offered in residence over a minimum of 3 1⁄2 days, provides optimal conditions for going deep within, quieting our mental chatter, and experiencing profound rest and inner silence. This course builds upon the Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique offered in the Art of Living Part 1 course.

The Art of Wholesome Eating

Course Format

Ayurveda recognizes that each individual has a unique constitution. In this course, the basic concepts of ayurveda are introduced in a dynamic manner, giving us a better understanding of our own personal needs.  The course gives us both the tools to recognize imbalances and the means to correct them. This knowledge answers many of the questions we often ask ourselves when we wish to improve our health and thrive on higher energy levels.

Art of Living Course

This is a practical organic gardening experience with a combined daily 2-hour academic session, in addition to 4 hours in the garden. The internship is divided into 2 three-month components beginning the end of April, June, and September. The focus is on planting and preparing a garden, tending, transplanting, harvesting, and preparing for winter. We go through all the processes of growing an organic garden from seed to seed.

Marma Chikitsa Training

Requirements

Art of Living Course regularly practiced daily for a minimum 6 months.

Course Format

Marma points are the various points on the body where the subtle life energy becomes matter, where thoughts transfer into the physical.

The includes:
On-Line Training, 8 Hours + 4 Hours Tutorials
4-Day Practicum, 40 Hours (including Sadhana Program)
Supervised Post Course Practicum, 40 Hours
Total Hours: 88 Hours

Garden Internship

Includes an on-line course format with ten on-line sessions
• 13 days in house training in:
• 4 Hand Abhyanga
• 2 Hand Abhyanga
• Shirodhara
• Swedna
• Karna Purna
• Enlivening the sense of touch
• Training to teach self-Abhyanga massage
• Basic clinical assessment
• Experiencing Ayurvedic meals and Understanding the role of healthy foods
• Introduction to the basic principles of managing a business
• Daily yoga, meditation and Sudarshan Kriya

• Essential principles of ayurveda: the philosophy of Ayurveda, the doshas, the gunas, the imbalances of the doshas
• Theory of Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Karna Purna and Swedna
• Basic anatomy and physiology. The need for this course is assessed individually.  If you have an anatomy-physiology certificate it will need to be certified by Sri Sri Ayurveda.

Sri Sri Yoga Level 1

This 10-hours workshop provides an experience of all aspects of yoga, including:

Yoga, Meditation, and Sri Sri Ayurveda Retreat

A weekend designed specifically for people new to meditation and yoga, but also a refreshing retreat for those who already know about the Art of Living.
Begin the day with gentle yoga postures; enjoy the simplicity and peace of meditation.  An Ayurvedic facial rounds out the time.  In-between, enjoy delectable vegetarian cuisine. There is time for walks and relaxation. In the evening slip off to rest or join in an hour of singing and celebration.
