Film on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to be screened at Cannes Film Festival

Bengaluru: ‘Guru, The Movie’, a tell-all documentary film on the life of the global humanitarian and founder of The Art of Living, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, by Argentinian film maker-Paula Schargorodsky, will be screened at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival's Marche Du Film. 

The film's Logline says, "The filmmaker manages to sort out the ultimate pop guru of the century's strict protocol to try and find out if enlightenment really exists."

10 minutes of the film, which is still in the production stage, will be screened at Cannes Film Festival’s Doc Corner section of Marche Du Film during its 50th anniversary.

For the last five years, the Argentinian film maker, known for making films like ’35 and single’(released on New York Times’ digital platform) and ‘The Guru and The FARC’, traveled 80,000 miles across 63 cities filming Gurudev’s life as he meets heads of states, guerrilla leaders, industrialists and everyone in between, in trying to reveal the person behind the Guru.
