Ranchi, Jharkhand: Art of living Jharkhand celebrated The 59th birthday of H H Gurudev Sri Sri Ravishankarji on 13th May, 2015 with great devotion, joy and gaiety.
Born in 1956, Guruji is playing an important role for contemporary society. It was the great opportunity for AOL family to say thanks on his birthday who has given His whole life for His vision to create a stress-free, violence-free peaceful society. Many parts of Jharkhand celebrated 59th birthday. Everybody was waiting together for this moment to dedicate this day to him.
In Ranchi, the AOL family celebrated birthday with the inmates of Birsa Munda Central Jail. In the early morning of the day the program was started by group Shadhna and Long Sudarshan Kriya. More than 55 prisoners have participated in sadhana under the leadership of AOL teacher Sri Renupada Patra, Runti Chandra and Ashim Kundu. After that Runti Chandra performed Guru Puja. The inmates were very happy for their participation in Gurudev’s birthday celebration. After that the hall was zooming when the satsang started with Guru Vandan. Rajiv Kumar Gupta, inmates who is in jail form 6 month and was so depressed, said, “This is a special day for me. When I jailed I was so depressed like anything. Every day I broke anything like chair, watch. I did not have any control on my behavior. But after attend Prison Smart course my behavior was becoming normal and I feel this changes. So today is a great day for me.”
The AOL DDC member Sri V. K Sahay with The Jail authority was also be present and a part of this celebration.
