24 people donated blood in a free blood donation camp on April 2, 2015 at Dalla, within the Habibpur police station limits, district Malda (WB).
The Art of Living faculty and district YLTP coordinator Vivekananda Tikadar organised a free blood donation camp on April 2, 2015 at Dalla, within the Habibpur police station limits, district Malda (WB). A medical team from Malda district hospital-cum-college collected 24 units of blood during the camp. Uttam Jha, a social worker, spoke about the significance of blood donation and thanked the donors and organisers.
Volunteers Swapan Kumar Sarkar, Bidyut Sarkar, Dipak Roy, Tapan Roy, Pinky Roy, Haripada Barman, Rabindranath Majumder also contributed towards the success of the camp.
The guests included Sharat Chandra Biswad (doctor), Kaman Bala (political leader), Dr. Ajit Das (Govt. hospital), Uttam Jha (social worker), Reboti Sikder (panchayat) and Anil Saha (social worker). The décor was by Biplab Mandal and Chandan Roy, and the mike set was provided by Ajit Malakar. Kanai Kumbhakar, Pramatha Biswas, Dalim Roy Subrata Biswas, Ramani Biswas also took part.
