Troupe from Arunachal performs in World Culture Festival

ITANAGAR, Mar 20: A contingent of about 150 people from different parts of Arunachal Pradesh attended the World Culture Festival (WCF) of The Art of Living which was held in New Delhi from March 11 to 13.

A troupe of 75 represented Arunachal Pradesh in a mega dance titled ‘Cosmic Rhythm’, where over 4,600 artists from different corners of the world presented a Dance-Drama comprising 30 dance forms.

The festivities included a glorious symphony of 8,500 artists on 50 different instruments, spectacular cultural performances from across the globe, ancient chants of peace, thousands of dignitaries, and a sea of humanity.

“It’s unbelievable that 36,000 people, including the troupe from Arunachal Pradesh, performed on that stage,” stated Dr Ligu Tacho, Chairman of The Art of Living Arunachal Pradesh, who led the State team.

The Festival was a celebration of 35 years of The Art of Living’s service to humanity, spirituality and human values.
