On the occasion of New Year and Christmas holidays, Art of Living - Macedonia, organized a humanitarian action "Choose Love", dedicated to children from socially disadvantaged families. This action was part of the traditional actions that AOL Macedonia organizes every year in order to provide some food and gifts for the children of these hungry families to enable them to experience the joy and warmth of the New Year holidays.
The creative workshop was attended by 40 children, who made Christmas cards, donated food, toys and books, which will be an integral part of the New Year presents for the children whose parents can not allow buying any gifts. It was interesting that they already knew what means to be human and to give and help to someone who does not have. That is why the cards were made with great joy and given with love.
Even before they started to create they knew why they have come to the event. Beautiful, colorful greeting cards were created by the small hardworking fingers of the children who wrote messages with wishes for a Happy New Year, telling to Santa Clause not to forget the homes of these poor children. They wanted just a little to bring closer the magic of the holidays in their homes.
The event was also attended and supported by famous Macedonian music stars, actors and children's writers, and together with them they were dancing, reading and acting, imagining that they were in the theater. The event was supported by the media too.
