What Is Meditation?

Did you know, meditation was the tool that sages in ancient times used to access the vast knowledge resource of Ayurveda. It is an ancient system of natural and holistic medicine that has stood the test of time.

Meditation is the source of all creativity and it is also the culmination of all efforts. It is your genie – you ask for it and you will be provided with it. It is a cozy bed of roses that gives you an eon of relaxation in ten minutes of meditation.

Meditation is to sharpen your intuitive ability. There are facts we perceive with our senses and intellect. But there are some things we understand because our heart says so. There is this feeling in the pit of our stomach which helps us comprehend thing that we cannot perceive through our senses or through rational reasoning. And that is your intuitive ability.

But, contrary to all rules of success, meditation neither requires hard work. Nor does it ask for smart work. In short meditation is ‘no work’… and total relaxation. Meditation is not concentration. It is de-concentration. It is not about focusing the power of your thoughts on one thing but about becoming thoughtless. It is an effortless transition from being something to merging with nothing, with the infinite and recognizing yourself as an inseparable part of the whole cosmos. But most importantly meditation doesn’t have a religion and can be practiced by a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Zoroastrian, Hindus and many others alike.

There are benefits galore once you get into a regular habit of meditating. It releases stressful impressions from your mind that heals us emotionally, pumping us with enthusiasm to take on life’s challenges and convert them to opportunities.

But if you think you are jam-packed and have no time to meditate, you might want to read this:

Why has life become stressful? You’ve got too much work but too little time and energy? Mostly, it is difficult to reduce our work load because that means reduced productivity. But do we have a choice to increase our energy or add hours to our day?

YES, Meditate!

Meditation helps unblock all energy channels and allow smooth flow of energy to every cell of your body. Increased energy levels directly impact the pace of your work. So while you are able to complete more work in less time, you are actually adding hours to your day. Meditation gives you the power to fulfill the reason for which you are here. And just 20 minutes of meditation will be enough for you.

Meditation gives you joy, joy without a reason. Reasons that make you happy are time bound. Once the reason expires, your happiness expires too. But through meditation, you have access to a joy that refuses to diminish.

Meditation isn’t just restricted to a few minutes of deep relaxation.
It is a way of life. Are you ready for change
