Women and Technology, it really goes two ways – one is really getting the technology to the more deprived areas of the world, to places where you don't have technology. The other side of technology and women especially in technology, where girls have the option/potential to go and study technologies and sciences. The level of girls that are actually choosing to study technology and science is not as high as men. A lot of thought has to go on how to encourage more and more girls to choose those subjects, to choose going the technology way, the science way. In this way you basically give them more opportunities in the future.
Israel has developed many programs to try and support/encourage girls to choose technology and sciences. She appealed to all to make sure that from a very young age, girls should go the technology way.

Sound Bites

  • By studying those professional courses gives Girls the tools for a better future, it gives them the tools to choose, it gives them the tools to be independent and this is true for every place in the world.
  • The more you give to the girls the more you get in return.
  • Hard core technological companies, the women are in the minority, around 25%-35%, a very low part of the population who choose technology. If you go to the executive level, it goes down to about 10%. So, as women, we have a lot to do.
  • Women are not just about technology, it's about the fashion, passion about compassion and the combination of everything makes me feel that a girl can do everything, you just need to give them the tools, she can do anything at least as good as men, I won't say better, but at least.
