Breathe Mission Planet Bogota

Breathe Mission Planet Bogota

Breathe Mission Planet is an environmental program that has the support of United Nations and supports the Millennium Development Goals inviting each individual to stand up and act to counter the effects of climate change, raise awareness about preserving the planet and be part of the new Green Generation.

Around the world,  Art of Living volunteers are involved in reforestation and cleaning of areas of ecological risk. In Bogota, Breathe Mission Planet is participating in the cleanup and reforestation of the Cordoba Wetland through monthly interventions that seek to conserve wetlands and to educate the citizens about the importance of recycling, reducing consumption of plastic, styrofoam, and  other contaminating substances,  as well as incorporating friendly environment habits in our daily lives.

The initiative has the support of the Mayor of Bogota, the Acociayión Alumni of the University of the Andes (Uniandinos), Bogotá Metropolitan Police, Scouts, and Córdoba Wetland Management among others.

"These actions are contributing to climate change mitigation that is inceasing every day at a disproportionate rate of acceleration. We appreciate the attention given by the Art of Living volunteers hoping to continue brewing joint processes towards the environment." director of Management Agreement of the Cordoba Wetland.
